Inspiration
We were inspired by a lot of people that have a great idea that can be a profitable business in the future, but having problems to make their ideas come true, how to make a business from their idea, or to find an investor to help their project's idea come true. So we thought that we should make an app to help them build their raw idea into working business in the future called LaunchPitch.
What it does
LaunchPitch can create an opportunity for those who’s only have an idea but don't know how to objectify it. They can register and submit their idea, and we will choose some of the best ideas. Then we can teach them how to start the business from their idea, help them to make a prototype, help them to make a proper pitch, and finally help them to get their investor.
How we built it
We built this prototype using non-code tool, Figma .
Challenges we ran into
This is our first hackathon, so we don't have any experience with something like this. We're ran into problems like:
- Making a prototype with a very limited time
- Managing time with our college's assignments
- Lack of designing skill
- Bad connection
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Finishing our prototype with very limited time
- Able to objectify our idea into a prototype
- Brainstorming an idea that can help others
What we learned
From this hackathon we've learned how to manage our time, and gained some experience to compete with a lot of talented competitors.
What's next for LaunchPitch (LaP)
As you can see LaunchPitch (LaP) is still a prototype. The next thing we want to apply to this prototype is to make this prototype into a functional application, and complete all incomplete features from the prototype such as transaction between the investor and the project's founder.
