Inspiration

Starting a business is exciting, but many entrepreneurs struggle with planning, market research, branding, and creating professional business documents. I wanted to build a platform that makes launching a business faster, easier, and more accessible for anyone with an idea. That vision became LaunchPilot AI.

What it does

LaunchPilot AI is an AI-powered startup assistant that helps entrepreneurs transform ideas into launch-ready businesses. It helps users:

  • Generate and validate business ideas
  • Create professional business plans
  • Build a brand identity
  • Produce essential business documents
  • Receive step-by-step startup guidance
  • Save time by completing everything in one platform

How we built it

We built LaunchPilot AI during OpenAI Build Week using OpenAI Codex and GPT-5.6. The application was developed with **Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, GitHub, Vercel, and OpenAI APIs. Codex accelerated development by helping implement features, debug issues, and improve the user experience.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was combining multiple AI-powered workflows into a single, intuitive experience. We focused on making the platform powerful while keeping it simple enough for entrepreneurs with little technical experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of building a fully functional AI-powered platform that is deployed and available online. LaunchPilot AI demonstrates how OpenAI technologies can help entrepreneurs move from an idea to a launch-ready business more efficiently.

What we learned

This project showed us how much faster software development becomes with OpenAI Codex and GPT-5.6. We also learned valuable lessons about AI-assisted development, user experience design, and deploying production-ready applications.
