Inspiration

The project was inspired by the daunting struggle faced by startups in sourcing essential investors and resources. We aimed to simplify this process, empowering entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams more easily in a all in one platform

What it does

Our platform simplifies the entrepreneurial journey through four key features:

Effortless Pitching: Entrepreneurs can effortlessly share their ideas, and our platform takes care of the analysis and tagging, ensuring their pitches are presented effectively.

Smart Recommendations: For investors, finding pitches that resonate with their interests becomes a breeze, thanks to our personalized pitch recommendations.

Seamless Networking: Networking with potential investors is simplified, enabling easy scheduling of meetings and fostering meaningful connections.

Job Opportunities: Entrepreneurs can also post job openings, attracting top talent and facilitating the growth of their ventures.

How we built it

Frontend Development: We utilized React, a popular JavaScript library for building user interfaces, to create an intuitive and responsive frontend that facilitates user interactions.

Backend Development: Python, known for its versatility and readability, served as the primary language for our backend. We implemented a Flask framework to create a flexible and scalable backend infrastructure.

Advanced AI and NLP: Leveraging the power of BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) and Natural Language Processing (NLP), we achieved accurate pitch analysis and tag generation, enhancing the core functionality of our platform.

Challenges we ran into

Pitch Analysis Complexity: Initial difficulties in accurately analyzing pitches, resulting in incorrect tags and potential misalignment with investor interests.

Frontend-Backend Integration: Challenges in seamlessly connecting and synchronizing the frontend and backend components of the platform, affecting user experience and functionality.
