STEM education today often follows a one-size-fits-all approach, which leaves many students confused and disengaged. Inspired by platforms like Khan Academy and innovations from Y Combinator startups, we wanted to create a solution that makes learning personalized, interactive, and accessible for every student.
What it does
Launch Lab AI is an AI-powered STEM learning platform that:
Acts as a personal tutor to explain concepts step-by-step Generates adaptive quizzes based on student performance Provides virtual lab simulations for science experiments Tracks progress and gives real-time feedback
How we built it
We built Launch Lab AI using:
Frontend: React for an interactive user interface Backend: Python (Flask) for handling logic and APIs AI Engine: APIs inspired by OpenAI for generating explanations and questions Database: Firebase for storing user progress
