Inspiration

Every great brand starts with a dream, but for most founders, launching that dream feels overwhelming like juggling twenty tools, a thousand tasks, and never having enough time, support, or clarity. I know this struggle deeply, because I lived it.

Years ago, before AI made “easy” even possible, I launched my first digital magazine WOE Magazine armed with nothing but grit, vision, and Google. I have in a span of a decade ran a creative staffing company for designers, mentored women entrepreneurs and recently birthed Galore AI, but one thing never changed: every launch felt more complicated than it should. The process was scattered, the tools were disconnected, and the “playbook” was missing.

That’s why I built Launch Closet.

My vision: create the one place I always wished I had a single, luxury workspace where anyone, from side-hustler to seasoned CEO, could plan, prep, and launch a brand without overwhelm or guesswork. No more hunting for documents, patching together checklists, or struggling to bring ideas to life. With the power of AI, Launch Closet turns complexity into clarity, giving every creator a launch studio as smart and intuitive as the brands they dream to build.

Launch Closet is my answer to the frustration, the overwhelm, and the missing roadmap I faced on my journey and now, it’s here to empower the next generation of founders to launch with confidence, creativity, and joy.

    • Get step-by-step business setup support, including legal entity guidance and resource links
    • Use the AI Brand Naming tool to instantly generate unique, on-brand names tailored to their business model
    • Access the AI Pitch Builder to craft compelling business pitches with smart writing assistance

  • Organize in the Launch Locker:

    • Store all brand assets, documents, and creative files in one secure, always-accessible place
    • Auto-generate brand guidelines—AI-curated color palettes, typography, and personality based on user strategy

    • Track every milestone with a dynamic, AI-optimized project timeline
    • Get personalized suggestions for what to do next and stay on top of launch goals

    • Get real-time answers to launch, branding, or technical questions with an integrated, always-available AI assistant

How I Built It

I designed the initial UI in Figma (a first for me!), then brought the vision to life using Bolt as the main development platform, with Supabase for backend scaling and OpenAI’s API for all AI features. Throughout the process, I used ChatGPT and Claude as “AI pair programmers,” helping me with troubleshooting, brainstorming, and copywriting. I started by building a simple prompt app, but Launch Closet is my first end-to-end, high-functionality app.

Challenges I Ran Into

Integrating the OpenAI API, especially configuring the environment variables (.env.local), was a major challenge. I faced multiple setbacks with API keys not being recognized, deployment issues, and connecting all the moving parts between Bolt, Supabase, and the front end. As a Figma newbie, translating my vision into a polished UI also took hours of trial and error. Balancing editorial design with practical workflow was a real learning curve!

Accomplishments That I am Proud Of

  • Successfully built and deployed a fully functional, AI-powered app from scratch
  • Created a clean, editorial-inspired UI/UX that feels both luxury and easy to use
  • Integrated Supabase for backend scalability and OpenAI for rich AI features
  • Built a true “all-in-one” launch studio—something I always wished existed
  • Learned (and pushed through) more than I imagined possible in such a short time

What I Learned

  • AI can truly accelerate ideas and make big visions achievable, even for solo founders
  • Design tools like Figma are accessible with focus and the right mindset
  • The importance of community—using ChatGPT, Claude, and Bolt support throughout
  • Troubleshooting is a skill! Every obstacle made me a better builder
  • Creativity and persistence matter more than perfection

What’s Next

This is just the beginning for Launch Closet. I plan to add new modules, integrations, and ways to customize the launch journey. My vision is for Launch Closet to become the go-to “closet” every founder opens when they’re ready to bring a new brand or product to the world. More features, more AI, more ways to launch—coming soon!
