Inspiration

We were inspired by a lot of sci-fi movies, Black Ops III, and hospitals. These 3 general ideas were implemented either in gameplay, modeling, or overall understanding of our game.

What it does

Our game depicts the descent into madness of a brilliant scientist, through longing, curiosity, and insanity, dedicated to his goal of seeing the earth again.

How we built it

We used Roblox Studio and Lua to help code and visualize our project.

Challenges we ran into

One massive issue we knew was the time consumption. taking on a project like this with a team of beginners was very challenging, especially time wise. Coding all our ideas down in what seemed like a long time proved to be a difficult challenge we managed to overcome.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our perseverance when things got difficult, and our determination, through staying up the whole night working. We've also learnt a lot in a short amount of time.

What we learned

We learned some scripting in Lua, the Roblox Studio mechanics and design, and lighting, as well as some animation and other small systems.

What's next for LAST SIGNAL

We could try adding more dialogue options that could let you spare characters, and get a different ending. We could also make the story much longer, to let players have a better experience. But in the end, there's infinite possibilities, so we could do anything we put our minds to.
