Our project consists of three laser diodes which shine beams of light off of a series of mirrors onto a wall. Each of the mirrors is connected to the shaft of a DC motor, which spins rapidly. Because the mirrors are not exactly perpendicular to the shaft, the mirrors wobble as the motors spins. This causes the appearance of the light on the wall to wobble as well. Because there are several such mirrors in a row, it creates the appearance of shapes being formed out of a single dot of light.
