Inspiration

Many small business make purchasing decisions based on intuition rather than data. While they generate valuable information through every order they place, they often lack the tools, time, or resources to analyze it and use it to grow their business. We were inspired by the opportunity to empower these businesses. This by transforming their purchasing history into practical recommendations that help them save time and growth. Our goal was to create a solution that makes data-driven growth accessible to every store owner.

What it does

Tuali Growth Hub helps small businesses grow through intelligent purchasing recommendations. The algorithm analyzes purchasing behavior and supports users in three key areas: Smart Orders, Strategic Products, and Promotion Optimization. It can identify recurring purchasing patterns and suggest future orders automatically, recommend products that perform well in similar stores, and highlight promotions that are relevant to the business's predicted needs. This new addition to the platform Tuali helps store owners spend less time managing inventory and more time focusing on growing their business.

How we built it

We developed Tuali Growth Hub Actualization as a web-based prototype using JavaScript. The system analyzes purchasing frequency, recurring products, and similarities between businesses to generate personalized recommendations for the 3 goals. We designed an intuitive interface, like the current one, where users can select a growth objective and receive tailored insights through dedicated dashboards.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was understanding how to deliver advanced data insights in a way that remains simple and useful for small business owners. Many analytics tools are designed for large companies with specialized teams. But our target users need recommendations that are easy to act on. Another challenge was creating meaningful recommendation logic with limited sample data while ensuring that the results reflected realistic purchasing behaviors. We also had to balance functionality and simplicity to create an experience that could be adopted by any store owner.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a solution that puts the power of data into the hands of small businesses. Our platform transforms historical purchasing information into actionable recommendations that can help businesses optimize sales. We successfully built a functional prototype that demonstrates how predictive insights can become an everyday tool for business growth. We are also proud that our solution creates value not only for store owners but also for the broader ecosystem by purchasing efficiency.

What we learned

We learned that small businesses often have access to valuable data but not to the tools needed to turn it into decisions. We gained experience in designing recommendation systems, building user-centered solutions, and translating business challenges into practical technology. We also learned the importance of simplicity when developing products for users who may not have technical or analytical backgrounds. We learned that data becomes truly valuable when it helps people make better decisions.

What's next for Las leonettes

The next step for Tuali Growth Hub is to evolve from a prototype into an intelligent growth assistant fully integrated within the Tuali platform. Future versions could include machine learning models for demand forecasting, real-time purchasing recommendations, personalized promotional campaigns, or advanced customer segmentation. We also envision automated ordering workflows and business performance dashboards that help store owners better understand their growth opportunities.
