Inspiration
We wanted a proceduraly generated space for creatures to walk around in
What it does
We couldn't get openGL to display terrain, but we did get a few cool triangles
How we built it
It was supposed to be C++ and openGL, running on a rasberry pi
Challenges we ran into
openGL is too low level for a hackathon
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting anything to display at all through the pi Getting SimplexNoise to create a cool terrain map even though we couldn't use it Having fun with friends
What we learned
One of us learned C++ We all learned to not use low level stuff at hackathons
What's next for large space
Better luck next year I guess
