Inspiration

The inspiration was, when we first started the project, we were originally going to make a story game where one can collect weapons and fight different bosses. However, we decided to change it up a bit after hearing some of the speeches by the volunteer here at LingHacks. We decide to alternate by making it a learning game, where users can learn and have fun at the same time.

What it does

The program allows users to learn new vocabs through a fun game.

How I built it

With a team of four, we all had different job to work on something that is not going to conflict. Even though the work wasn't evenly spread and we had disagreement, it worked out just as we wanted with minimum bug. EX: Xwork on algorithm, Y work on introduction.

Challenges I ran into

The two biggest challenge we ran into is getting the algorithm right and combining the graphics and the algorithm together.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Our group is proud, we were able to complete the program and learn many new knowledge of computer language.

What I learned

We shared our knowledge on areas we are good at, such as graphic designing and logical concepts, we worked on our specific part individually, but at the end, we managed to combine everything together and create a working final project

What's next for Language Online Learning

Our group wants to make the game more broad in terms of the number of languages used. To improve the program, our group decided to better the graphics and make the algorithm more abstracted.
