Inspiration
A recent project in school required us to intern, but I noticed how hard it was to find a place especially with our background of studies, experiences and others. Hence why this project is made so students can get an internship more easily.
What it does
A website where only students, university or highschoolers are able to find opportunities to find internships more easily. Especially for highschoolers, providing options with shorter commitments but still the same experience.
How we built it
It was built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. First a design for the flow, general appearances, name, requirements are made. How it'll work, what is required to sign up, how much a subscription will cost, what functions to be included etc. Next, these are brought to AI to create the website, code where edits, corrections are made until a proper result is formed.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the website to run accordingly and intuitively easy for users. There turned out to be more things to consider than expected, the placements, how big the button should be, what should be able to be toggled. Furthermore, forming a plausible idea for this to work and be unique is also a challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making a website (although technically still a prototype) to allow students find internship more easily. Forming the idea and the knowledge about coding learned along the way was something that could also be cherished and proud of.
What we learned
The thoughts that are required to form a proper idea for a business, although we are not there yet, the intricacy and all the conditions and thoughtfulness required to make it. Lots of thoughts were gathered to form a singular idea. And also the many consideration needed to ensure it could run sustainably financially, no wonder there are subscriptions in many websites.
What's next for Langkah
Perhaps making it actually real and working, since payments, proper database, and companies to work with are still lacking.
