Inspiration

I wanted to start working on a track following robot using Python and OpenCV for a long time. This is an initial implementation of my project. There is more to come.

What it does

It is a system in which the program gets the information about the destination color from a Google Sheet from the google API. Then it scans a QR code to start the robot and then starts following the track to the destination color and then stops.

How we built it

I built it using Python 3 and OpenCV library

Challenges we ran into

Initially I was stuck with the detecting contours but then I resolved it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It can successfully follow a track.

What we learned

What's next for Lane following for robot to deliver goods

To improve the system more and add more functionalities and if possible implement the use of neural networks.
