Landslide Arrestor (HC3 team)

Arrest the landslide with the handcuffs made out of our innovation.

Inspiration We the citizens of India are safe and sound because our army is strong and vigilant and spill their blood,sweat and tears for their country and their countrymen.So the least which a citizen like us can do is by contributing a bit from our side which could help them in performing their chores more easily and safely.

What it does: The model helps in arresting landslide, increasing vegetation and the infiltration capacity of the soil, in order to prevent soil erosion which is a big cause for the occurence of landslide.And tackles heavy rainfall problem too.

How we built it: using software called as sketchup to model the landslide.

Challenges we ran into : As electronics and computer students we had too research a lot in this field which we were oblivious to.

Accomplishments that we're proud of : That we were able to complete this within the deadline,given our multidisciplinary field.

What we learned : A lot about the struggles faced by our soldiers, about our environment and its catastrophes.
