Landmarker

Inspiration

We were inspired by the akinator game but, we put our own spin on it by changing the "final guess" to 3 suggested landmarks/locations that best fit a user's personality. We wanted to include the exploration theme in the bot, which is why we chose to make the bot produce landmarks.

What it does

The bot will ask a series of questions through discord and will ask users different questions based on their personalities. The bot will then compile all of the information given by the user to determine the 3 top locations/landmarks that would best fit them for vacation.

How we built it

We built it on the Discord API through discord.py using some components of python.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges with the time constraints as this was a big task to complete. Overall, the coding aspect of it was not bad but the timing was difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we created the bot overall and that it can now be added to servers. We did not complete the code entirely, but we have a bot and it was a start.
