Inspiration

We built Landit because we were tired of the "20-tab chaos." During our own job hunts, we found ourselves constantly context-switching: one tab for the job description, another for generic ChatGPT prompts, three more for forum advice, and a messy Google Doc for notes. We realized that while AI is great, it isn't built for the specific, high-stakes flow of an interview. We wanted a home for our career materials, a place where you don't just "practice," but actually improve and save your progress.

What it does

Landit is an all-in-one interviewing tool that replaces fragmented research with a streamlined workflow. Users can practice real-time interviews, receive deep evaluations on their delivery and content, and save their best responses in a centralized library. It’s designed to turn the anxiety of a "search and prompt" hunt into the confidence of a structured prep session.

How we built it

We focused on creating a seamless bridge between LLM-powered evaluation and a highly organized user interface. We prioritized "one-click" utility by ensuring that feedback isn't just generated, but categorized and saved so users can build a personal knowledge base of their interview wins over time.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest hurdle was moving past "generic" AI feedback. We spent a lot of time fine-tuning the evaluation engine to ensure it caught things like filler words and narrative impact without sounding robotic. We also had to figure out the best way to structure the "vault" so that users could easily retrieve saved materials without adding back to the digital clutter we were trying to solve.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re incredibly proud of how "quiet" the tool feels. We successfully moved away from the frantic nature of modern interview prep and created a space that feels calm and organized. Seeing the transition from a messy browser to a single, neat dashboard was our biggest win.

What we learned

Building Landit taught us that sometimes the best "feature" isn't more data; it's better organization. We learned that job seekers don't need more advice. Instead, they need a way to make the advice they have actionable and accessible.

What's next for Landit

We want to expand the evaluation library and integrate more industry-specific benchmarks. Our goal is to make Landit the standard for anyone ready to stop the search and finally land the world they got their eyes on.
