Inspiration – Making Professional Consultancy Available 24/7

The inspiration behind Guaide came from the realization that access to quality professional advice is often limited by availability, cost, or time zones. Many people need expert input on-demand whether for legal questions, mental health support, or business guidance but traditional consultancy models don’t support 24/7 availability. We wanted to democratize access to professional knowledge by building a system that allows anyone, anywhere, to consult with domain-specific AI agents any time of day.

What It Does – Lets People Talk to Professionals According to Their Need

Guaide allows users to engage with AI agents designed to replicate the experience of speaking with a professional. Whether someone needs advice from a psychologist, lawyer, doctor, financial advisor, or fitness coach, they can simply choose the relevant category and start a conversation. Each agent is fine-tuned and informed by expert knowledge and real-world practices, ensuring users receive accurate, relevant, and context-aware guidance.

How We Built It – Built with React, Vite, and Bolt.new

The frontend of Guaide was developed using React for its flexibility and component-based architecture, along with Vite for a fast development and build experience. We utilized Bolt.newfor rapid deployment and integration of Supabase for authentication and database management. The combination of these modern tools allowed for quick iterations and seamless UI/UX development while keeping the codebase maintainable.

Challenges We Ran Into – Building AI Agents Based on Real Expertise

One of the biggest challenges was ensuring the AI agents behave in ways that align with verified professional standards. Generic AI often lacks the nuanced understanding required in specific domains. We had to design a system that allows agents to reflect expert-level reasoning while staying within safe and ethical boundaries. This involved both prompt engineering and extensive testing to ensure the AI doesn’t hallucinate or offer misleading information.

Accomplishments That We're Proud Of – We Need to Work to Get More

While still in early stages, we’re proud of building a functioning prototype that connects users with domain-specific agents in real time. We’ve laid the foundation for a scalable and impactful platform. The feedback from early users has been promising, and it reinforces our belief that we’re solving a real need. That said, we’re aware there's a lot more to accomplish — from improving agent reliability to expanding professional categories and enhancing trust mechanisms.

What We Learned – A First Experience That Opens New Doors

This was my first time building something of this scale from scratch. I learned not just technical skills around AI integration and frontend development, but also product thinking — how to create something valuable for users, iterate on feedback, and solve real-world problems. This project has given me confidence and motivation to dive deeper into full-stack development and AI product design. It’s a starting point, and I know it will lead me toward even better projects in the future.

What’s Next for Guaide – The First Expert-Curated AI Agent Marketplace

We envision Guaide evolving into the first expert-curated AI agent marketplace, where verified professionals can co-create or endorse AI agents based on their unique methodologies. This would create a powerful network of trustworthy AI advisors tailored to real user needs. In the future, we aim to allow professionals to publish, monetize, and maintain their own AI agents — making Guaide not just a tool, but a living ecosystem of professional-grade AI consultancy.
