AstroAccounter

What it is

AstroAccounter is a budgeting platform that is targeted toward low-income families to support and educate their financial decisions. We hope to resolve the gap in financial education between the income brackets, and our platform makes budgeting easy to understand and helps to visualize the proportions each category takes up in an overall budget.

Challenges we ran into

In order to make our platform easier to understand for users who might not be well-versed in finance, we had to figure out a creative way to simplify the process. Because of the time constraints for this project, we faced challenges with debugging the code and overall implementing a few ideas that we were not able to include.
