inspiration

one member couldnt connect to wifi at the hackathon venue so yk what we made this

what it does

automate playing the chrome dinosaur game (on windows only)

high score: 5696!!!!!!!!!!!!

how we built it

using python and gui libraries which told us the screen pixel values and allowed us to simulate a spacebar keypress

challenges we ran into

the speed of the game increases so if we dont factor that in the dino jumps too late. also detecting night mode was a challenge. also the birds are annoying to detect

accomplishments that we're proud of

figuring out the exact value that lets the dino speed up the right amount by reading chrome source code. we also had to figure out the maximum speed of the game because we hit the limit. :3

what we learned

the speed of the chrome dino game increases linearly.
