Many colleges still rely on manual registers to manage lab equipment, leading to booking conflicts, delays, and poor resource utilization. Students often spend valuable time searching for available equipment instead of focusing on learning.

To address this, we developed LabLink AI, a smart lab equipment booking and management platform. It enables students to check equipment availability, book resources online, and track their bookings, while allowing lab staff to efficiently manage inventory and approve requests through a centralized dashboard.

Our goal was to create a simple, scalable solution that improves the lab experience for both students and staff. As future enhancements, we plan to add AI-based equipment recommendations, predictive maintenance, QR code-based issue and return, and smart analytics to make laboratory management even more efficient.
