Inspiration

The inspiration behind LabAnalyzer came from the need to empower patients with a clearer understanding of their lab test results, often shrouded in medical jargon.

What it does

LabAnalyzer allows users to upload lab results in PDF, image, or text format and receive instant, AI-powered explanations of their health metrics. It highlights key metrics and potential health issues for further discussion with healthcare providers.

How we built it

Our platform is built with a robust tech stack including React for the frontend, Strapi CMS and DigitalOcean for the backend, and OpenAI GPT for AI-driven analysis. We use Tesseract for OCR to handle text extraction from images.

Challenges we ran into

One of our main challenges was ensuring accurate and reliable text extraction from various file formats while maintaining high-speed processing.
