Inspiration

I wanted to make this because I'm currently learning about k8s cost optimization

What it does

It does real k8s cost analysis It tells you quantified savings ( saved $15/month from one service) Chat-based cost optimization

How I built it

Built it using Lang Chain, k8s python client, streamlit Used GitHub Copilot for various tasks

Challenges I ran into

I didn't get the GCP credit even though I applied for it, so I couldn't deploy and test it properly.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Able to create a working offline demo even though I faced issue in the last moment.

What I learned

By making this project I get to know the stuff really go on in managing the k8s cost

What's next for KubeGuardian

I will iterate over this project and try to make it more better
