Our tool is called KTPlaymate, and it is designed to help KTP members collaborate with each other in shared courses. When users sign up/log into KTPlaymate, they are able to use a drop-down menu to select the courses they are taking and view which other KTP members are in those same courses. The screen will display the members’ names and UGA emails so that they can contact one another to form study groups or ask for academic resources. This will help KTP members network with one another and build applicable tech skills through collaboration. This project uses Java, JavaFX, Emacs, and Git to effectively create a program that connects KTP members with their KTPeers. The tool is built to scale by growing its database of existing members and courses alongside the growth of KTP.
