Inspiration

After joining college, we had a lot of assignments to complete. It was very hard to keep track of them, so we thought to ourselves, why not create an assignment tracker that could make our college lives simple?

What it does

Krypton is an assignment tracker used to keep track of our assignments. We can add assignments and their deadlines, and after completing them, we can remove them from our pending list. It also sorts our remaining assignments by date.

How we built it

Our Krypton assignment tracker is mainly built using React.js. We used Canva to design our website.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we ran into using react hooks, especially useState. Having our components in different files, it was not easy to use the hook on certain project parts.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have gotten a better idea of using React.js and got comfortable using useState hook.

What's next for Krypton- Assignment Tracker

At present, Krypton is a static website with no backend. With a little extra effort, we can easily turn our Krypton Assignment tracker into a fully functional website, which can be used for the betterment of student life.
