Inspiration

The challenge to overcome the difficulties faced by people when keeping track of their investments in cryptocurrency.

What it does

Krypt is a user friendly portfolio tracking app. It keeps the user up-to-date with the market value of their assets, money they gained or lost and the real-time market value of other cryptocurrencies available.

How we built it

We built the prototype design using figma team project and developed the code in vs code. We took advantage of GitHub to communicate the code amongst us. The CSS code in figma helped code the front-end of the app while using Mangodb for our back-end database and coinapi for app market value functionality.

Challenges we ran into

Two of the major challenges we faced while building the app was fetching api's and merging the GitHub code by our teammates to provide app navigation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our main accomplishment is bringing our sought-after app to light, we created together. Being able to present our app demonstration here after only such a short time is also something we are proud of.

What we learned

While building Krypt, we learnt to implement new functionalities that we knew could be done without knowing the means to do it.

What's next for Krypt

The future improvements could be to have a more secure accessing, a brief discription of the cryptocurrencies available in market, a better way to help the user understand assest-gain or loss and user verification.
