Inspiration

We were inspired by the everyday struggles of Indian farmers who lack access to timely advice, modern tools, and reliable marketplaces. Our goal was to create a simple, AI-powered solution that truly supports their needs.

What it does

Krshera is an all-in-one farming assistant that provides crop suggestions, land analysis, equipment rentals, buying/selling platforms, weather updates, and an AI chatbot to answer any farming-related questions in local languages.

How we built it

We built Krshera using AI website builder apps to quickly design and prototype the platform. To showcase its functionality and usability, we used prompt-generated dummy data for features like crop suggestions, marketplace listings, and chatbot responses. This helped us simulate the real-world usage experience and demonstrate how the app can benefit farmers without full-scale integration at this stage.

Challenges we ran into

Understanding diverse farmer needs, ensuring simplicity, supporting multiple languages, and designing for low-connectivity rural areas were major challenges we tackled.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a working, accessible platform in a short time using no-code/low-code AI tools and created a solution that directly addresses real agricultural pain points.

We learned how to use AI tools effectively, empathize with real users, and build tech that solves rural challenges.

What's next for Krshera-Empowering Bharats Farmers

Our next step is to develop Krshera into a fully functional end-to-end platform with robust backend support, voice-enabled AI in regional languages, and offline access. We aim to collaborate with government bodies, agricultural departments, and local panchayats to onboard real farmers and integrate official schemes. Our mission is to make Krshera a nationally recognized platform that reaches every farmer in India, making smart farming tools accessible, trusted, and widely adopted.
