Inspiration

It all started when we heard about Locad's challenge, What if running a business didn’t mean being overwhelmed with repetitive tasks? As founders, we’ve experienced firsthand how exhausting it can be to manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure customers always have a great experience. The endless phone calls, emails, and manual tracking—it’s draining and keeps you from focusing on the bigger picture.

We thought: What if AI could handle all this for you? Not just as a tool, but as an extension of your team- one that’s always working, always learning, and always reliable. That’s when we realized the need for a platform that lets brands deploy their own AI agents effortlessly, without the tech headaches or big budgets.

What it does

Keeps tabs on your inventory: The AI monitors stock levels, flags low inventory, and notifies suppliers to restock. Communicates with warehouses: It coordinates incoming stocks and orders, so you’re always ahead of the game. Answers customer inquiries: Whether it’s product availability or order status, the AI handles inbound calls with accuracy and professionalism.

How we built it

We combined state-of-the-art tools to create a seamless experience: Deepgram for real-time Speech-to-Text (STT). GPT 4o mini as the core language model for intelligent responses. LangChain for prompt chaining and reasoning. Azure Speech for natural Text-to-Speech (TTS). SvelteKit as the framework for frontend and backend.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was optimizing the voice agent to minimize latency. Real-time interactions demand lightning-fast responses, and we worked tirelessly to bring the inference time down to acceptable levels.

What's next for Kronox

We’re just getting started and have exciting plans on the horizon: Twilio Integration: To enable AI agents to have their own phone numbers, making outbound and inbound calls even easier. Webhooks and External Actions: For seamless integrations with third-party apps and workflows. User Data Source Connections: Allowing the AI to leverage your existing data for smarter insights and actions. Cron Jobs for Automations: To schedule repetitive tasks like notifications, stock updates, and follow-ups automatically.
