What It Does

Krishisetu is an innovative digital platform designed to bridge gaps in India's agricultural ecosystem by seamlessly connecting farmers, landowners, and investors from across the country. The platform empowers farmers by introducing them to cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence, making advanced tools accessible to even those with limited digital literacy. By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, Krishisetu creates a vibrant community where emerging tech solutions tackle real agricultural challenges.

How We Built It

This platform is powered by Base44, no-code development tools, and advanced AI chat models—including Gemini API integration. By leveraging these resources, the team created a working prototype entirely without traditional coding, rapidly transforming ideas into a practical, interactive app suitable for demo, prototype, and real-world scenarios.

Challenges We Ran Into

As first-year undergraduate students navigating the tech landscape, we faced significant constraints—primarily the limitations of the free Base44 tier, which restricted access to several premium features. Despite limited experience and resources, we successfully created a functioning prototype, demonstrating innovation and resilience in the face of adversity.

Accomplishments We're Proud Of

We are proud to have developed a concept with the potential to transform Indian agriculture. Our prototype showcases a scalable solution that is both technically feasible and highly relevant for the Indian market, reinforcing our belief that impactful change is possible even with minimal resources.

What We Learned

This journey taught us the power of no-code development, collaborative problem-solving, and hands-on AI integration. We learned to build practical solutions using modern platforms, chat with AI systems, and develop apps entirely without writing code—a testament to the accessibility of today's technology.

What's Next for Krishisetu

Our next step is to scale Krishisetu into a fully-functional, market-ready application, overcoming the current feature restrictions of the Base44 demo tier. We aim to secure funding, partnerships, and technical support to unlock advanced capabilities, integrate real-world data, and make a tangible impact on India's agricultural sector by driving tech adoption among rural communities.[1][2][3]
