Inspiration

Krishi Vriksha was inspired by the need for transformative change in the Indian agricultural sector. We recognized the challenges faced by farmers and the potential for technology to empower them. This inspired us to create a platform that provides real-time market information, a user-friendly marketplace, and multilingual support.

What it Does

Krishi Vriksha offers real-time market updates for agricultural commodities, categorized by state. It also serves as a marketplace for buying and selling agricultural products.

How We Built It

We built Krishi Vriksha using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express and Node.js). The core of our system is an API connected to a MongoDB backend where data is stored.

Our journey was not without challenges. We encountered real-world problems, struggled with API integration, and worked diligently to ensure the site was user-friendly.
