Kpop Recommendation System

Inspiration

All three members of our team like and listen to Kpop. We want to spread it to different people who are interested in getting to know the genre.

What it does

It uses a RAG system to retrieve and find information regarding the Kpop groups.

How we built it

We built the project with Google CoLab, packages regarding API's while using youtube videos for guidance regarding the building of the RAG model.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges regarding getting everyone to collaborate on the code at the same time and when it came to getting the pdf being able to be read as a pdf.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of building a RAG model with little to no experience regarding coding an actual project.

What we learned

We have learned how to build a RAG model, scrape date and break it into chunks. We learned how to embed the data into the RAG model.

What's next for Kpop Recommendation System

The next step would be building a front end system since the entire project is backend.
