Inspiration
We were inspired by the simple idea of self care, which is crazy because self care is something people see as a luxury but we wanted to be able to provide that luxury to as many people as we could!
What it does
Our app includes a journaling section where you can write your feelings out every morning, night, or really whenever, and the best part is it will be erased by the time you come back so its just simply a way to get your thoughts and feelings in one place! Another fun aspect of our app includes is a music section that features relaxing sounds! We hope these sounds encourage you take five minutes everyday to take care of your mind and body! Last but not least we have an encouraging quote section! If you ever feel like you need a motivation boost or just some simple words of encouragement; this section will give you a kind randomized quote!
How I built it
We used javascript on Code Studio to code the app and Figma to prototype the design of the app.
Challenges I ran into
We found it difficult to combine our code together and for some us it was a challenge to adapt to a new coding platform and language.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are proud to have completed a project as a team and for all of us to have came to our first hackathon. Also we are proud to have built a project that advocates for mental wellness and brings awareness to mental health.
What I learned
We learned that bringing ideas together makes even better ideas and when multiple people work on one project, the project can be on a much greater scale than when one person does it on their own.
What's next for KOVID-19 KINDNESS
We want to share our project with our friends and family, and help them anyway we can with our service.
