Inspiration

We were inspired to make the city of Kosice, where we live, better and more comfortable. We wanted to show how we can improve the layout of the infrastructure, which we think we have done.

What it does

We developed a web application KOŠICEMIND. The main one is the admin panel, where we can interact with the map and analyze the data received. You can enter the admin panel using your personal login and password, which you can get by leaving us a request.

Our project aims to create the right infrastructure for the city of Kosice, allowing it to realize its full potential and become a model of sustainable development in the region. We are committed to identifying infrastructure solutions that will best serve the needs of the community, focusing on areas such as transportation, schools, home organization and cultural organizations.

How we built it

We used React technology for the client, which sends an API request to the backend, which is written in PHP. Further our request follows in Database and takes the necessary data. Further, the data is transferred to the open API from Mapbox and returns our map with the specified parameters to us.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered such problems as parsing the received data and finding the addresses of post offices.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

And so, we were able to do what we planned, at the set time, and it works. We can fully show a working prototype that anyone can open at our address.

What we learned

We have improved our ability to work well in a team, to communicate correctly with each other to achieve our goals. It is also impossible not to mention that everyone has improved their skills in their specific area, as fast development forces you to be creative in stressful situations and work quickly.
