Inspiration
We wanted to understand why being unbanked was a problem. After spending a few weeks in Sri Lanka we discovered that it is a major barrier to employment and companies are willing to pay to solve it.
What it does
Kore Payments provides a payment platform for construction companies to pay informal labourers that don't have bank accounts. Informal Labourers receive tokens that they can spend with each other or cash out at community hubs.
