Inspiration
Allowing hardworking Jamaican and other Caribbean citizens to save money by using e-coupons.
What it does
Provides digital coupons free of cost from SMEs to customers. Also analyses customer data to forecast trends of customer purchasing etc.
How we built it
Front end was built using HTML, CSS, Angular.JS, while the backend was built using PHP Laravel. The mobile app was built using a framework called Ionic.
Challenges we ran into
Prediction of customer purchases could not be completed within the time frame.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completing all three components of the project.
What we learned
It's unhealthy to not see the sun for 42 hours.
What's next for Koopan
Building out the data mining and AI aspect and creating an MVP.
