Inspiration

I was inspired by a recurring problem I noticed while working with startups, freelancers, and growing teams: managing contracts was always a painful process. From lost documents and back-and-forth email threads to unsigned agreements and version confusion, it felt like the systems we were using were slowing everyone down. I wanted to build a tool that made contracts feel clear, fast, and aligned with the way modern teams work. That’s where the idea for Kontract began.

What it does

Kontract is a smart contract management platform that helps users:

1. Create contracts using simple, editable templates
2. Collaborate with teams or clients in real-time
3. Sign documents digitally
4. Track every contract stage from draft to signed
5. Set reminders for renewals or pending actions.

How we built it

I started with deep research, talking to freelancers, HR managers, founders, and legal assistants to map out their current contract workflows and frustrations. Then I built out a 27-page brand strategy document covering everything from positioning and personas to logo rationale, color palette, typography, and brand story. Finally, I wrote a prompt to bring it to life with bolt.new
