Inspiration
Usually, data visualization aplications are expensive or imply a large development project. Konfio's clients are generally small and medium-sized businesses, so having a cheaper solution which already connects to thier data with Konfio lets these businesses take the right decisions at the right time.
What it does
Kompas connects to the client's information and shows visualization of punctual business needs, like income or best customers, so the CEO can take a glance at his cellphone and make the right calls in case something's not going right.
How we built it
The app was built and deployed in Ionic.
Challenges I ran into
Being only 2 programmers on the team, we spent most of the time on the frontend and part of the backend, but at the end we only had time to deploy the frontend. We had the backend on Google Cloud Services and a database in MongoDB, but we couldn't make the connections.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We created a user-friendly multiplatform application with visualiztaions we believeattack key business needs.
What I learned
We learned to develop on Ionic.
What's next for Konfio Viz App
We meant to connect the app to D3.js and dynamicaly update the visualizations pulling the data from the cloud.
