Inspiration
Loneliness is a real problem. Being connected to others socially is widely considered a fundamental human need—crucial to both well-being and survival. Thus, when people experience persistent social relationship deficits, they lack access to this need which can kill them faster than obesity.
What it does
Kodo aims to alleviate the fundamental problem of feeling lonely by providing a platform for people to interact with a chatbot that speaks and acts like a human. Kodo helps people feel better, offer advice and ultimately serves as a bridge that connects them to real people who understand their needs.
Challenges we ran into
- Debugging the dialogflow API
- Integrating the app with the server processing

Built a minimum viable product with Swift, Dialogflow, Google Assistant, mongoDB, JavaScript and Node.js, Express.js and HTTP
