Inspiration
In our school, we use coupons to buy things at school events. This causes a lot of confusion, reduces the speed of transactions, and makes it harder to track transactions.
What it does
This Web-App eliminates the use of coupons and allows each user to individually pay the shopkeeper. The accounts can be reimbursed through the Admin. The shopkeeper can see the transactions and his balance. The student can see announcements, his balance, and make purchases from different shopkeepers.
How I built it
I used HTML and CSS for the front end. PHPMyAdmin and MySQL for the database and PHP to connect the front end to the backend.
Challenges we ran into
I did not know how to use PHP so I watched a dozen of youtube videos to understand PHP. This was my first time using a database but the friendly nature of PHPMyAdmin helped me out
Accomplishments that I am proud of
I feel that I am really proud of the organization in the database considering the fact that it was my first time using the database.
