What it does

Currently, it is a chatbot which shows an overview of the illness entered.

How we built it

I used the DialogFlow API to develop the chatbot. It helped me with the Natural Language as well as the several integrations. This way, Know Your Health chatbot could be implemented on different platforms (web, slack, discord, telegram, etc.)

Challenges we ran into

This project is incomplete, mainly because I could not connect the chatbot with a healthcare API. It was a hard time for me to even find APIs that aligned with my vision. Right now, the disease information is hard coded. :(

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is my first ever chatbot and my first ever Google Cloud project. :)

What we learned

I learned what goes into making a chatbot, and how to work with Google Cloud.

What's next for KnowYourHealth

The user can get insights from others with similar illnesses and what helped them get through it -- creating a sense of community.
