💡 Inspiration

In today’s fast-paced tech ecosystem, students often struggle to find reliable learning resources, relevant opportunities, and active communities in one place. Most platforms are either too scattered or too complex, leading to information overload.

Being part of a growing tech community in Bhopal, we noticed that many students miss out on hackathons, workshops, and learning paths simply due to lack of awareness and accessibility.

This motivated us to build Knowvy — a platform designed to simplify discovery and empower learners by bringing everything under one roof.

⚙️ What it does

Knowvy is a centralized platform that helps users:

  • 📚 Discover curated learning resources & roadmaps
  • 🎯 Explore hackathons, workshops, and tech events
  • 🤝 Connect with communities and opportunities
  • 🔔 Stay updated with latest tech trends
  • 💳 Register for events with integrated payment system

We also aim to reduce decision fatigue by structuring content in a way that optimizes learning efficiency:

🛠️ How we built it

We adopted a full-stack web development approach:

Frontend:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Responsive UI for seamless experience across devices

Backend:

  • Node.js with Express.js

Database:

  • MongoDB for storing users, events, and resources

Templating Engine:

  • EJS for dynamic content rendering

Integrations:

  • Razorpay for handling secure payments and registrations

Our architecture focused on:
