Inspiration

Having fun and learning more about existing AI technologies and its applications.

What it does

Creating an application which makes report making easier and more accessible to everyone. Through the use of AI to process incoming inputs such as text, voice, and images.

How we built it

One team split into three teams, where one person is an AI engineer, a backend engineer, and a front end engineer. The backend uses python and flask. AI technologies include existing Azure libraries and Open AI libraries. Frontend development uses React Native.

Challenges we ran into

Bridging the AI to the front end. Understanding AI libraries posed a fun and challenging task to do in order to fully utilize them. The back end has had problems also figuring out required materials and processes that are required.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Although far from perfect and lacking completeness, we managed to create parts of a solution which can then be expanded and combined to create a unified better solution.

What we learned

AI libraries are very useful to lots of fields, and will continue to be even more important in the coming decades. Planning is also a very important part of a project.
