Inspiration

Our team comes from four different countries, each with different languages, so we know the effort it requires to communicate and collaborate when each mother tongues are different. This is why we found that a project that solves this problem could be a good tool for daily use.

What it does

Our project enables the generation of english reports from different languages and in three formats: text, image and audio.

How we built it

We have built a frontend where the client will be able to upload all his notes. From there, the data will be processed with different ML Algorithms and the web page will create a PDF file with the english report

Challenges we ran into

Connecting the diferent parts of the pipeline in order to make them work together, has been a big challenge, but we have been able to solve it succesfully.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud we have been able to create a working prototype that works for all formats and languages

What we learned

As mathematicians and data sciences, this has been a good oportunity to learn about front end development and how to use Azure platform.

What's next for knowron_faniblurb

We would like to perform more analysis on the different models we could use. Also, we would like to gather more data in more languages, to fully test this application and maybe be able to fine-tune the used models
