Known is a platform that modernizes the marketing calendar marketers already use. Right now, brands plan around fixed, predictable dates — Ramadan, Eid, Black Friday, the Algiers International Fair in June. That works, but it misses everything that happens between those dates: a heatwave hitting France, a TV series making a certain jewelry style suddenly desirable, a meme or trend spreading on X. Brands either miss these moments entirely or find out too late. The platform continuously monitors news and social signals, verifies what's actually happening (not just that something's trending — why), and matches each real-world event against every client brand's profile using five parallel factors: theme, ethical alignment, target audience, industry, and brand voice. Only genuinely relevant matches reach a brand, along with a risk assessment (flagged, never hidden) and concrete campaign ideas grounded in the real event. Technically: CurrentsAPI and web scraping for news ingestion, Agno-based AI agents running on Groq with Mistral as fallback and for embeddings, Postgres + pgvector, all wired through an event-driven pipeline.
