What it does
Enables quick creation of embeddable AI chatbots that handle product search, cart management, purchases, support queries, and lead capture—all in a single conversational flow.
How we built it
A FastAPI-based microservices backend (authentication, training, analytics) connects to a JavaScript widget that auto-adapts to any site, powered by a Knowledge Adapter for structured and unstructured data ingestion.
Challenges we ran into
Balancing ease of setup with deep customization, ensuring high-precision retrieval from diverse data sources, and building a lightweight widget that fits any frontend without conflicts.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Functional PoC ingesting CSVs, JSON, PDFs, and Markdown into our knowledge engine.
- Embeddable widget tested across multiple sites.
- Stripe payments and email notifications integrated for monetization.
What we learned
Microservices offer flexibility for swapping LLM providers; content-aware chunking dramatically improves answer relevance; and automated styling detection makes embedding painless.
What's next for Knowledge-Pro
Develop multilingual support, advanced analytics dashboards, A/B testing tools, and enterprise integrations to evolve the PoC into a full-featured MVP.
