Inspiration

To create a compilation of Covid-19 resources and services that is easily accessible for the general public .As well to avoid the delay in the emergency situation to waiting for consent from family Members or guardian to start the operation.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into many challenges from how to use API in the website to get covid 19 patient data and how to send information about the patients to the nearest hospital.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are all from First year Batch and were having only a basic knowledge of technology still we made our goal worked. We have created something which played our part in society in these times of crisis. If our contribution could save even one life, it would be a great accomplishment for us

What we learned

we learned what the virus is, how it is detected, how it presents itself in imaging, how the RT-PCR test works, the correct way to put on an N95 mask. How it got transmitted. Research that was placed after finding Covid-19 to Prevention of COVID-19. people got to know about what steps to take if any symptoms were to occur.

What's next for KnowCOV

Planning to launch a standalone app for various platforms. The idea to purchase an online domain.we do not believe we will ever go back to where we were on January 1, 2020, “But as we get further and further from that time, fewer people may remember how it was before"

Execute 2020, has been a rollercoaster ride for me.The time constraint of the the hackathon helped me to handle pressure and interact with people.
