Inspiration, I just had an instance where my roommate was on drugs and I didn't know it. If I would have known the signs, maybe I could have called it earlier. Found out he was on fentanyl, and yeah that explains why his life has been spiraling. I thought I would make this to help people notice the signs of addiction. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to get help, and well he hit rock bottom, so there's the inspiration.

What it does, it gives you resources to contact for help, resources for proper methods of intervention and approaching and confrontation for addicts in general, and just helps to educate people on the signs of different kinds of addiction.

How we built it, we built it with one prompt and some Markdown files built up with research online.

Challenges we ran into, not a lot of challenges. Just the realization of how critical this kind of information is.

Accomplishments that we're proud of well, I guess that remains to be seen if we can get the site rolling with a bit more traction after the hackathon is over and we put some changes into it. We'll advance the resources and increase the knowledge.

What we learned, that bolt can do a lot with the proper prompt and the proper files to help start the prompt for reference.

What's next for Know Your Addict, a non-profit focused educational platform to help people understand and stay connected and see the science before it's too late. If a platform like this can save even one life, help even one person, then it's worth it.
