Many many people of the modern world struggle with attention span. Children struggle to pay attention for as low as 10 seconds during class lectures, staff mute the tab of the HR training due to boredom, and many many more examples. This is a large problem of today, not only for the teacher but also the student.

What better way to solve this than to find a new engaging way to help people learn. We combined something as high energy and fun as racing and combined it with racing. Our idea was to have the students race each other and every once in a while a question pops up. This question that appears is related to the topic they are meant to be studying and those who get it right will be more likely to win with boosts such as powerups or turbos. This engages the student with the event of the race and incentivizes them to win by knowing what is being taught.

We started off with a simple website, connected with https then to websocket over TCP so our multiplayer game runs quickly. From there we found free 2d models of cars online and used that as our racing cars. We first started with a .db of questions but found that using google gemini's API allowed us to expand the questions to be very dynamic and catering to any subject without fail. We added rate limits, and went for a style similar to kahoot where questions can be made manually but with our added twist of AI being able to generate questions.

The biggest challenge we faced was trying to figure out the best way to make it as immersive as possible for the user, we tried by adding obstacles and slowdowns from going offroad.
