Knight's Address

Inspiration

While being in my speech lecture, we were forced to use a website that allow us to record and submit videos that were then reviewed and graded by AI. I wanted to have a similar website that allowed you to have results that were catered to the type of audience that you were speaking to.

What it does

My website "Knights Address" is an AI powered Speech coach that allows you to record a video along with audio, pick an audience group, and submit for review.

How we built it

I build "Knight's Address" by using the Kiro IDE and specifically the "Claude Opus 5.5" AI Agent. This agent was a monumental help in the building of the websites frontend and backend. The main part of this website, being the AI Coach, was powered by OpenAI's agent, "whisper-large-v3-turbo" and Meta-llama's, "Llama-3.3" brought to me by Hugging Faces. The backend of the website that dealt with one-to-one computer storage was brought to me by Neon.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge that I ran into was the AI Coach being too relaxed in the grading of your speech and the inability to transcribe what was said during the speech which broke the entire website.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of the fact that I had pushed out a full-stack website that has a meaningful use.

What we learned

I learned that I need to research more on AI agents and databases if I want to continue into building large scale projects.

What's next for Knight's Address

I would polish the website to allow users across all the devices to access it with no quality issues.
