Inspiration
When using AI softwares many past chat histories are avalible however the AI does not use information acquired from them to personalize your experience. This is why we decided to create a software with this concept in mi.nd ourselves.
What it does
Klarus acts as a personal diary that users can record information to. When a task or question comes up the user can consult Klarus who will generate a response with the added context of previous discussions and recorded information.
How we built it
We built it coding on VS, publishing our code onto github, and transporting it onto Vercel for the public. Next.js and tailwind was used for the UI.
Challenges we ran into
- Conceptually the idea was difficult to grasp for some members and had to be conveyed
- Mapping out the interface we would be implementing proved to be a difficult challenge
- The front-end aspect of the project ran into dozens of overhauls because we never quite felt satisfied with our work ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Our back-end implementation feels incredibly well put together
- We feel as if the project is conceptually unique
- Our product came together beautifully ## What we learned
- Our group learned about many different ways to tackle data storage both locally and globally
- We learned how to spread out work load when working in a group setting effectively ## What's next for Klarus In the future we plan to setup Klarus to give less importance to older information and scale importance according to its age effectively
