Inspiration

We thought about classifying newspapers to aid in maintaining some quality over news while preventing and/or reducing the propagation of fake news.

How we built it

While the idea was originally for android devices, we focused on creating a website, courtesy of domain.com. For the website we used ember.js in every aspect.

Challenges we ran into

None of us knew how to code for web, aside from using a data base for a website service.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating and running the website.

What we learned

We learned a lot about web development and databases, even if we didn't have enough time to apply the last one, we are still glad of the new tools we acquired.

What's next for kkoatl

1. Allow users' rating with Google login authentication.
2. Add international newspapers to allow for a global scale.
3. Improve the layout and the newspapers database.
