Our team set on an adventure at 9 this morning, trying our best to explore the immersive world of Howler. The limited time constraint had already started weighing upon us during our brainstorming session. However, through determined collaboration we were able to narrow down the problem to : "How will we get information about this planet." After some hysteric ah-ha moments, we finally had a rough plan; to build a drone. All of us were assigned specific topics to research such as thermal imaging, topography and the overall engineering structure of a drone. Some conflict did occur when we considered whether we use boosters or rotors. However, by considering the effect of the heavy wind speeds and the overall sustainable mindset of the project, we refused to use natural gas for our boosters. Delving deeper into the project, we split up in groups to create a website and a CAD sketch. After every hour we reconvened to upgrade the sketch and solidify the model. We then inquired the help of some mentors for feedback and we were happy to learn our project was off to a good start. Our presentation, the final piece of the puzzle was heavily influenced the workshop hosted by John Lam on entrepreneurship.
